Theatricks Circus Experience! - Children of all ages come one come all and join our youth circus program! Learn circus arts such as juggling, wire walking, plate spinning, tumbling, stilt walking and more! Come runaway and join the circus and still be home for dinner! We encourage managed risk taking in a noncompetitive format that builds self confidence, improves self image and sharpens hand eye coordination. The list of positive physical and mental benefits is enormous! Our programs end in a culminate performance, an opportunity to perform their newfound skills in front of family and friends. Classes are taught by the Theatricks staff of professional circus artist (mostly the Lohr family!) For more than 30 years Theatricks has been engaging and impacting the youth of our community in positive ways. Inspiring them to be more than they thought they could be with the beauty of circus arts! It’s amazing what they will be able to do in a short time!!! What makes us special? Theatricks is run by veteran circus artist and all-around fantastic family entertainer Mark A Lohr and his family. Two generations of circus performers bring fun and frivolity to audiences in MD and beyond! The Lohr family has performed locally and internationally for a combined total of 54 years, bringing laughter and creating generational memories in schools, theaters, festivals, resorts, and cruise ships. Our performance style is a unique mixture of circus skills and slapstick comedy, guaranteed to bring out loud laughs from the young and the young at heart!
