Frederick Homeschool Mom is a free, ad-free resource built to help homeschooling families across Frederick, Carroll, Washington, and Montgomery Counties connect with local opportunities, programs, and businesses that support the homeschool community. Everything here is completely free to access with no pop-ups, no paywalls, and no ads.
You’ll find co-ops, extracurriculars, field trip ideas, volunteer opportunities, legal resources, event listings, and more. Everything is curated with connection, clarity, and community in mind. We also feature a Community Tab where homeschooling parents who run local businesses can share what they do because supporting each other is part of the mission.

Hi, I’m Grace. I’m a second-generation homeschooler, a mom, and the heart behind Frederick Homeschool Mom.
I created this site because I know how overwhelming and isolating homeschooling can feel, especially when you’re just getting started or trying to find your people. I wanted to build something local, accessible, and genuinely helpful. No gatekeeping. No spam. Just real resources for real families.
As the daughter of small business owners and a small business owner myself, I care deeply about supporting the local businesses that uplift homeschoolers. That’s why everything here is free to access and free to list.
